ChainFree Inaugural Ball
Saturday, April 18, 2026 • 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm
The ChainFree Ball is ChainFree's inaugural gala and will highlight the nonprofit’s mission to improve the lives of outdoor dogs and promote humane alternatives to continuous tethering through building fences, spay/neuter, aftercare, education and community-based advocacy services. The landmark fundraiser will be emceed by Allyson Spellman and features sponsorship opportunities, community recognition and an evening of celebration, all in support of freeing more dogs and empowering families throughout East Tennessee. Guests will enjoy a night of surprises, excitement and entertainment while connecting with others who care about compassionate animal welfare in our community.
Experience a stunning work of art created by insPYRE, an emerging non-profit welding school dedicated to second chances. The one-of-a-kind metal sculpture is forged from real chains removed from formerly tethered dogs in the ChainFree program. Guided by renowned sculptor Preston Farabow and master welder Joe Hall, students from the Men of Valor program are transforming chains that once restrained dogs, and symbolically, the chains of their own past, into a powerful symbol of liberation, beauty and renewal.
