East Tennessee Community Design Center Urban Home & Garden Tour Party

Join the East Tennessee Community Design Center at The Holston’s never-before-opened shell retail space at 531 S. Gay St., to kick off the Urban Home & Garden Tour. Attendees will enjoy summer “samplings” created by a local chef and paired with select wines. The Holston also will open the old bank vault of the former Holston National Bank.

After dinner, attendees will tour one of Knoxville’s finest private homes in The Elliot, a historic building at State Street and Church Avenue. Dr. Bruce Wheeler, University of Tennessee professor emeritus and historian, will be on hand to share historical insights of The Elliot and discuss Knoxville’s 225^th birthday.
