River & Rail Theatre: The Old Man and the Old Moon Opening Performance

The Old Man and the Old Moon by PigPen Theatre Co., which will run Feb. 12-March 1, is a wildly inventive folk musical full of music, magic and adventure for the whole family. When the Old Man leaves his job of filling the moon with light to search for his missing wife, he’s swept into a world of storms, sea monsters and unforgettable characters. The story unfolds with  live folk music, theatre magic and boundless imagination. From shadow puppets to rollicking sea shanties, every moment is packed with theatrical wonder. It’s a show that delights all ages and reminds us how far we’ll go for love. The play is co-production with Pellissippi State Community College.
