DESCRIPTION:An evening of exquisite live music\, fine dining\, and lively auction excitement to benefit student scholarships at the University of Tennessee School of Music. Sponsored by the UT School of Music’s Advisory Board\, Gala 2014 will be held at the Cherokee Country Club\, Saturday\, March 22\, 2014\, beginning at 6:00 p.m. \nA cocktail reception will start the evening\, followed by delicious beef and seafood dinner prepared by Cherokee Country Club’s renowned culinary team. \nEvening events will include both a silent auction and a live auction. Guests will have the option to bid on private performances by School of Music artists at their home or event\, resort vacation accommodations\, golf outings\, home décor items\, and more. \nEntertainment will be provided by renowned UT Music faculty and outstanding students including a string quartet\, jazz ensemble\, rising stars from UT Opera Theatre and The Knoxville Opera Theatre\, two award-winning UT a cappella groups\, and more.
