SUMMARY:Scruffy City Orchestra’s 10th Anniversary Concert
DESCRIPTION:Dr. Ace Edewards will lead the Scruffy City Orchestra in a special concert to celebrate its 10th anniversary featuring soloists Ruth Bacon on violin and Ryan Seaver on organ as part of the Cathedral Concert Series of the Cathedral of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. After the concert\, the audience is invited to meet the orchestra in Cathedral Hall (the “old” cathedral) for light refreshments. The program includes Verdi – Nabucco\, Sinfonia; Chausson – Poème\, Op. 25\, featuring Bacon; and Saint-Saens – Organ Symphony No. 3 in C Minor\, Op. 78\, featuring Seaver \nAdmission is free\, an donations are welcome. Ticket reservations are requested through Eventbrite. Check the Cathedral Concert Series website for the ticket link\, which is usually posted one to two weeks before the concert.
