Emerald Youth Foundation Legacy Dinner

The Emerald Youth Foundation will hold its annual Legacy Dinner, now in its 18th year, to honor a community leader who is making a difference in the lives of more than 3,500 city children. The 2026 event will recognize Rick Kuhlman, director of the Knoxville Fellows, a program that equips college graduates to integrate faith and career. Doors open at 6 p.m. with the dinner and program at 6:30 p.m.

A retired U.S. Air Force colonel with 30-plus years of service, Kuhlman has led civic organizations across Knoxville and is passionate about mentoring young people, including through Bible studies, campus ministry, Scouting American and a volunteer with Emerald Youth Foundation.
