KMA Opening Reception: States of Becoming

The opening reception will be held for "States of Becoming" that will include a gallery talk with Curator Fitsum Shebeshe at 6:15 p.m. during members-only hour from 6-7 p.m. The event will open to the public at 7 p.m. The reception also will include a musical performance by artist Miatta Kawinzi at 8 p.m., food by Tarik’s North African, cash bar and a specialty beverage. "States of Becoming" will be on view at the Knoxville Museum of Art through April 27, 2025.
