CAC Mobile Meals Power of the Purse Fundraiser, now in its sixth year, is a benefit for Knoxville and Knox County’s Mobile Meals program. Purses and auction items are donated by the community and local businesses, and attendees can choose from hundreds of bags at “Purse Madness” at bargain prices, along with silent and live auction packages anchored by a premium purse. The event includes light dinner fare, one drink ticket and a cash bar. Tickets will go on sale in mid-July and can be purchased at www.knoxseniors.org. Doors open at 4:45 p.m.
