The East Tennessee Historical Society Annual Meeting features a reception, dinner, speaker, Awards of Excellence recognition and the election of officers and directors for the coming year. Birdwell, professor of history at Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville and chair of the Tennessee Great War Commission.
