The East Tennessee Historical Society (ETHS) board will hold its Annual Meeting of the Membership with official business followed by a special membership address from Dr. Warren Dockter, president and CEO of ETHS to review the last year of activity and share what is being planned next. The third annual Cherel B. Henderson Memorial Lecture will follow with guest speaker Ashley Howell, executive director of the Tennessee State Museum, to discuss the role of institutions and individuals in preserving the artifacts and sources of state and local history.
