The Girl Scouts of Southern Appalachians will hold its annual fundraiser, Cookie Creations, to officially kick off the cookie season. The event features Girl Scout cookies and beer pairings. The keynote speaker will be Nicole Hughes, a Girl Scout alum and volunteer who is currently partnering with the American Academy of Pediatrics to create a water safety patch.
