The annual Stars of the Industry event recognizes excellence and innovation in the hospitality and tourism industry. The Pauly Awards are presented to individuals, organizations and establishments that have made significant contributions to the growth and development of the sector. The luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m. and the program at 11:50 a.m. The guest speaker will be Deniece Thomas, commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development. The awards acknowledge hard work, dedication and exceptional service demonstrated by professionals in various roles within the industry. Scholarships will be awarded to students studying hospitality, tourism or culinary arts the University of Tennessee, Pellissippi State Community College and Maryville College.
