Historic Homes of Knoxville (HHK) will hold a celebration of the city’s 229th anniversary at James White’s Fort with cupcakes, beer and wine, door prizes and live music, along with a special announcement from members of the Historic Homes of Knoxville about the 225th Tennessee Statehood Series. The event is free, and no reservations are required; however when the Fort has reached capacity (50 people), there may be a wait to enter. Donations will be accepted, and proceeds benefit the historic house museums.
