The annual Historic Homes of Knoxville Founders Day Luncheon will celebrate the City of Knoxville’s 227th birthday. The luncheon promotes the city and its historic properties, including Blount Mansion, Crescent Bend House & Gardens, Historic Ramsey House, James White’s Fort, Mabry-Hazen House, Marble Springs State Historic Site and Westwood. Proceeds from the luncheon benefit The Historic Homes of Knoxville. Steven E. Woodworth, American historian and professor of history at Texas Christian University, will discuss Civil War battles in East Tennessee.
