Independence 250 Concert on the Fourth

Bring family and friends to a musical celebration featuring a 35-piece, American brass band and special guests, to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence of the United States of America. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with overflow to be seated on the lawn. The concert starts at 8 p.m. in the GSM Heritage Center’s Large Covered Amphitheater. Enjoy live portrayals of historically relevant characters in 1776 revolutionary-era costume with a fireworks Display in downtown Townsend to follow.  Admission is a suggested $10 donation.
