InterFaith Health Center: An Evening Under the Stars

InterFaith Health Center will hold a fall evening of music, community and purpose at An Evening Under the Stars at the Lakeshore Park Amphitheatre featuring singer-songwriter Emily Wyrick with a special tribute to Tennessee’s Dolly Parton. Her connection to Dolly is more than musical. When Emily was a young child at the age of 7 or 8, Dolly came to her family’s Lakeside Studios to record with Emily’s father, producer Travis Wyrick. For a little girl who knew Dolly as a superstar, having her suddenly walk into the place where her dad worked was an unforgettable moment. Emily’s great-grandmother, country singer Alma Ray, also once shared the stage with Dolly. Cocktails begin at 6 p.m. with dinner at 7 p.m.
