Knoxville Area Rescue Ministries (KARM) will hold its annual Hope Rising dinner in the fall – Hope Rising, Hope Renewed … Lives Restored – with keynote guest Chris Blue. The event will feature fun and inspiring entertainment, dinner, silent auction, KARM guests sharing their remarkable stories of restoration and a few surprises. KARM serves the homeless, hungry and poor in the community and in the last year provided more than 180,000 meals and safe shelter for more than 3,000 guests. From the time a guest walks through the doors, KARM offers programs (LaunchPoint, New Life and Serenity), which teach job and life skills to help break the cycle of poverty and homelessness.
