Knox Heritage Gilded Age Gala
Knox Heritage will host a New Year’s Eve Gala and Dinner at Westwood, the historic home of John and Adelia Armstrong Lutz, who, on Dec. 31, 1890, welcomed the cream of Knoxville society for a glittering New Year’s Eve gala unlike any the city had seen. In the tradition of the Vanderbilts’ 1883 Gilded Age Ball, 100 guests will enjoy a gala on the last day of 2017. There are two ticket levels — one with a 7 p.m. arrival and the other at 9 p.m. The party shifts outdoors at 9 p.m. to a sparkling tent and continues into the early morning hours of the new year.
A $500 ticket includes a 7 p.m. arrival with cocktails; hors d’oeuvres; multi-course dinner; live entertainment, including an extravagant floor show, music and dancing; after-dinner cocktail supper and open bar; New Year’s countdown and champagne toast; and midnight breakfast
A $200 ticket includes a 9 p.m. arrival with cocktail supper and open bar; floor show, live music and dancing; New Year’s countdown and champagne toast; and midnight breakfast.
