Knoxville Opera: A Musical Celebration of Easter & Passover

The Knoxville Opera will perform “A Musical Celebration of Easter & Passover,” featuring operatic music of Mascagni and Halévy; excerpts from Verdi’s Requiem; and arrangements of familiar hymns, psalms and spirituals by Fauré, Barber, Granier, Secunda, Corley, Willcocks and Shackley. Soloists include Brian Salesky, Knoxville Opera artistic director; Maria Clark, soprano; Aubrey Odle, mezzosoprano; Aaron Short, tenor; and David Crawford, bass.
Seating is limited, and doors will open at 4 p.m. The event also will be livestreamed and available to view on YouTube.
- Face-coverings are required inside the cathedral at all times.
- Non-contact temperature checks may be required at the door.
- Screening questionnaire and sign-in for contact-tracing will be required.
- Physical distancing must be maintained between family groups.
- Limited seating follows CDC and Tennessee guidelines for worship.
- Public water fountains are disabled on the premises.
- Hand sanitizer stations are located throughout the cathedral.
