The annual celebration of National Philanthropy Day recognizes East Tennessee’s most outstanding philanthropists and fundraisers. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m., and the luncheon starts at noon. The event will recognize individuals and organizations in the following categories who have been nominated by members of the Association of Fundraising Professionals: Cynthia Moxley, Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser; William “Ed” Harmon, Outstanding Philanthropist; Clayton, Corporate Philanthropist; Sharon Moore, Fundraising Professional of the Year; First Horizon Foundation, Outstanding Foundation; and Girl Scout Troop 20034, Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy. The 2021 Legacy Award will be presented to Ben Landers, the retired CEO of United Way of Greater Knoxville who will be recognized for his 41 years at the United Way. Tickets are available HERE.
