On the Lawn for LARC
Join A Step Ahead Foundation of East Tennessee (ASAFET) for an evening of music and friends at the organization’s first-ever backyard benefit concert hosted at the Pavilion & Lawn at Ijams Nature Center. The event will feature the smooth jazz sounds of The Kenneth Brown Quartet, food, beer, kombucha and more. Admission is free, and any donations will directly support ASAFET, which empowers women to reach their goals and follow their dreams without having to handle an unplanned pregnancy and offers education, information and access to long-acting, reversible birth control (LARC). Guests will receive two free beverages of their choice from Frog Juice Kombucha and Crafty Bastard Brewery. Food will be charged per plate by Mina North Africa’s pop-up restaurant.
