The annual fundraiser for Keep Knoxville Beautiful honors the Knoxville and Knox County buildings and outdoor spaces that beautify the local landscape. The event includes music, silent auction, reception with complimentary beer and wine, dinner and awards ceremony. The winners are announced at the event in six categories: New Architecture; Redesign/Reuse; Restaurant/Cafe/Bar/Brewery; Environmental Stewardship; Outdoor Space; and Public Art. Additionally, the Mary Lou Horner Beautification Award will be granted to a former winner whose property remains Orchid-worthy. The speaker is Gale Fulton, associate professor and chair of the Graduate Landscape Architecture Program at the University of Tennessee.
