The United Way Annual 2020 campaign will kick off with a fun and socially distant Superhero Scavenger Hunt. This event is for all ages and will take participants on an engaging and educational trip around the community. Kids can receive a free superhero cape and adults can buy a United Way T-shirt for $15 to support the annual campaign. Those who sign up for a monthly donation to United Way can get a free T-shirt. Pick up capes and T-shirts at United Way of Greater Knoxville headquarters at 1301 Hannah Ave., in Knoxville on Thursday, Sept 17 or Friday, Sept.18, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The scavenger hunt will take place Sept. 18-27. RSVP and download the Goose Chase app and search for “UnitedWayKnox” to find the scavenger hunt.
