Unveiling History: Four Voices in Bronze

Boyd Sports and the Beck Cultural Exchange Center will unveil four new bronze statues honoring individuals whose lives and legacies have shaped Knoxville and its culture and collective story. With this installation, the stadium will now feature 11 statues, all developed through Beck’s guidance and historical stewardship, transforming this space into a living testament to Black history and heritage.

The unveiling will take place at Covenant Health Stadium/The Delaney Plaza. The four newly commissioned bronze statues will honor four figures with deep roots in Knoxville, each of whom made enduring contributions to the cultural, artistic and social fabric of the city and beyond. The identities will be revealed as part of the ceremony.
