Young-Williams Animal Center ‘Cause for Paws’
Young-Williams Animal Center will hold its seventh annual fall benefit and dinner, “Cause for Paws,” a fundraising event for the nonprofit animal shelter and official intake center for Knoxville and Knox County. The evening benefit will feature beverages, dinner, music and silent and live auctions. As the municipal shelter of the City of Knoxville and Knox County, the shelter takes in more than 8,000 lost, unwanted, abandoned and neglected animals each year and depends on animal lovers and fundraisers to provide the best quality of life while these pets are in our care. In 2018, for the first time in the history of the organization, it achieved a 90%+ save rate, earning the designation as a no-kill shelter and saving 8,311 animals and has maintained that status ever since, with a 94.8% save-rate currently. Tickets are available HERE. Attire: “Snappy” casual.
This event was rescheduled from Oct. 21 due to inclement weather. All table sponsorships and tickets purchased will be honored for the rescheduled date.
