Knoxville Symphony's principal second violinist, Edward Pulgar, takes the podium to present a refreshing afternoon concert as he conducts and performs Mozart’s Third Violin Concerto.

The Knoxville Jazz Orchestra's Jazz is for Lovers will feature vocalist Sachal Vasandani, who has delighted audiences alongside artists such as Wynton Marsalis, Milton Nascimento, Chris Botti and Michael Feinstein. The annual Valentine's Day-themed program will feature songs made famous by Nat King Cole and arranged for big band by John Clayton.

Guest conductor Noam Aviel makes her Knoxville debut with a delightful Mediterranean-centric programming, which includes Rossini’s “The Silken Ladder,” Toldra’s “Sea Views” and Respighi’s “The Birds.” Rodrigo’s “Concierto serenata” features Knoxville Symphony harpist Cindy Emory.

Clarinetist, saxophonist and composer Anat Cohen, a native of Tel Aviv, will join the Knoxville Jazz Orchestra. Her music effortlessly blends Jazz and Brazilian Choro with influences from Africa and the Middle East into an infectiously charismatic sound that blurs the lines between cultures and genres. This is a must-see event for any lover of great music.

From the three pieces by modern composers Garrop, Assad and Herron that open the program to Vivaldi’s tour de force “The Four Seasons,” Baroque influence will radiate from the Knoxville Symphony’s concluding Chamber Classics Series concert for the 2024-25 season.
