The Great Smoky Mountains Institute at Tremont will celebrate its 50th anniversary during the annual Homecoming gathering with a special weekend package that includes: Saturday and Sunday nights lodging in the Dormitory. Four meals (Saturday supper; Sunday breakfast, sack lunch, and Homecoming dinner). Relaxed and informal activities on Saturday evening and Sunday, such as campfire and/or moonlight walk, waterfall hike and tour of Tremont’s new property in Townsend. Space is limited. Great Smoky Mountains Institute at Tremont Open House – POSTPONED
(As a proactive measure against the COVID-19 virus, this event has been postponed.) The Great Smoky Mountains Institute at Tremont will host an open house to showcase programs and volunteer opportunities, including upcoming community science research projects to impact the future management of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
