Knoxville Opera: Glory Denied
The Knoxville Opera will present "Glory Denied," based on a true story by Tom Cipullo that takes the audience on a journey through the tale of America's longest-held prisoner of war, Col. Floyd James Thompson. The Knoxville premiere of "Glory Denied" will be performed in English and followed by a talkback with Knoxville's William A. Robinson. The event will be held at James R. Cox Auditorium at the Alumni Memorial BuildingĀ on the University of Tennessee campus.

Night with the Arts MLK Tribute
MLK Night with the Arts will feature an original stage performance along with performances of "Of Ebony Embers" and MLK Holiday Tribute to create a night filled with multi-faceted artistic expression. The MLK Holiday Choir also will be featured.
