The Tennessee Valley Players 8th Annual Fundraiser Gala, called "A Toast to Broadway and Classic Popular Song," features live entertainment, heavy hors d'oeuvres and silent auction. It will be held in the Great Hall of St. John's Episcopal Cathedral. Proceeds benefit TVP's summer musical. Reservations are required. Parking lot adjacent to church charges a fee.

Artists from the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra will play original compositions by Jason Overall, a local composer and the music director of St. John's Episcopal Cathedral, including his piano quintet, suite for solo cello and oboe quartet. Cathedral Arts: Choir of Clare College, Cambridge UK
Cathedral Arts will present the Choir of Clare College, Cambridge UK as part of its North American tour with an imaginative program of music blending familiar favorites with new delights, including Roderick Williams's re-imagining of William Byrd's "Ave verum corpus," the American premiere of Héloïse Werner's Magnificat, Herbert Howell's popular "Take him, earth, for cherishing" and works by Eric Whitacre, James MacMillan and Gerald Finzi.
