University of Tennessee Chancellor Jimmy Cheek will host a ceremony to mark the grand opening of the first phase of the Student Union at the Student Union plaza on the new Pedestrian Bridge. Tours of the building and refreshments will be offered immediately following the ceremony. Parking available in Lot 9.

UT Football Signing Day Celebration
Tennessee football head coach Jeremy Pruitt and Director of Athletics Phillip Fulmer will headline a National Signing Day celebration. Pruitt, Fulmer and other members of the Vols' staff will share stories and give insight on the 2019 recruiting class starting at 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the ticketed event includes food, drinks and a cash bar.
